So I’m reading reviews of the Magic Bullet product. Everyone complains about gears and seals wearing down and that it’s basically only good for mixing drinks, not blending solid/frozen foods. Then I think to myself, what did you expect. I’ve yet to see a good product (that I purchased) with the sales pitch, “But wait, there’s more!”. So I’m interested to hear from you, all 5 of you. Ever bought a product from an infomercial that was good?

The last thing like that I bought was a trimmer, Worxgt . It’s not too bad actually, for me. If my yard was much bigger the battery wouldn’t do so great, and the line doesn’t spool so hot either. For the price, you could find a product at Lowe’s that would perform just as well. All in all I’d give it 3.8 out of 5 BusyPixel Nuggets (that’s a good thing btw).

why are santa cruz bikes suddenly so expensive?

probably cause they want to charge more i’m thinking. anybody that has some insight would be great. i mean most of their bikes are not even made here in the US anymore, they are made over in taiwan, at least thats what a guy at a local bike store told me yesterday. he said hes not even sure why they are more expensive other then that they want to be.

seriously, just a couple years ago it was around 3k for a new nomad, that same nomad (more or less) now is going for 4999 at that same store.

new band site

uh yeah we have a band site up. i posted some songs. some lyrics. its worth a laugh if you’re bored or something: mode evader

we recorded all the tracks into garageband demo style, so there are some mistakes and some uglies in there, but hey, i feel like we actually accomplished something this summer, and its still june! the members of the band are myself, anthony, and josh. we might even have some pictures on that site that don’t have black bars over them, but i can’t promise anything.
