For those who care. I used to play video games alot and got off on tweaking mouse settings, mouse brands, mouse pads etc, while some of it did actually improve my game, most of it didn’t, and was just a way to misplace my frustration with my talent.

I get it, you think edge is all delay, like you can somehow just turn on delay and sound like him. Well most of the people commenting are slightly tarded, like the forum user: neastguy. His excuse is that he doesn’t listen to guitarists who don’t use their real names. I went to his awesome band website www.eightballonline.com. That band pic alone makes my pants tight.

And that brings me to my conclusion really, that alot of people talk ALOT of crap about people/instruments/styles/amps/effects/etc. on that board, and when you try to get some kind of sense of where they feel like they can be the authority on something, you follow their post sigs and you just get the most insane random crap. I used to think that forum was full of a bunch of pro’s, now I realize its a bunch of people shooting their mouths off. It took me a while to realize that most people talking about gear, have rarely ever actually played the gear they are talking about. Karl does actual tests, thats what I think set him apart.

Reminds me of a friend I have, who is always msg’ing me about some new tech thing about how awesome it is, and yet when I ask him how it was to use it he says, oh well I have not actually used it yet. The internet makes experts and fools of us all.

I was thinking “It’s almost like copy and paste from your spam filter,” or, “Someone left the door open and to can knowledge got out, never to return.”

The crappy part?

It happened in a billing cycle, so I COULD NOT MAKE A PAYMENT.

THEY CHARGED ME A $39.00 LATE FEE AND RAISED MY INTEREST RATE TO 25%

Wow, I’m calling austrian babies on this one.

I just spent most of my morning getting them to reverse something that they caused. AND THEN. AND THEN!!! the lady offered me on the phone a protection plan so this would not happen again, which was 85 cents of EVERY dollar of my minimum balance, THAT WAS THE COST OF THE PLAN. So since my new minimum balance was $92.56, the program would cost me another $78.68 a month… FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS THEIR FAULT.

Credit card companies are evil. Come on Obama, the legislation for them has to be harder then what you just signed.
