Don’t apologize for being awesome

Seriously, if you can own a team like this, why feel sad about it? Oh yeah, cause its girls basketball.
Mars Vs Venus I guess.

Its not about being awesome, its about trouncing and humiliating another team. In high school basketball. I think what they did was crappy and showed remarkably poor sportsmanship. As a coach of youth sports, I see those parents/coaches who forget that these are just kids and not some professional athlete. I’m glad they apologized, but they only did it because of the media attention. Shameful.

Look the losing coach should have just forfeited the game WHILE they were getting worked, cause they SUCKED. Seems unfair to make the winning team have to do anything about it.
You tell them win win win, and then they win HUGE and you’re like Hey you made them feel bad apologize for following order.
Coaching FAIL.
If I was the winning coach, I would of asked the other coach if they wanted to call it at the most. But hey, if the losing team isn’t calling it then finish it.

the losing coach didn’t make them do anything. They felt bad and rightly so. Forfeiting mid game is no better on the sportsmanship level, and certainly teaches the wrong thing to your players.
I hope your kids are never on the losing end of a youth sports game like this. Your change of opinion at that point would be very dramatic.

It doesn’t matter who wins, as long as we all have fun. Oh please! Stop being such vaginas, and deal with the fact that other team was just better! Why play sports if you’re gonna cry about a loss?
