Hey, i've been defending it for years against my PC friends, but i'm fed up. You seen those snotty commercials with a square PC dude and hip Mac dude? It's supposed to show how cool and hip Mac users are and how compatible they are with other systems. What they don't show is how my Mac seems to "loose" the drivers to my scanner and printer every month, and I have to go on their sites to download it over and over again. Or the fact that anytime I want to to upgrade a program like Maya, they want me to buy a new operating system. Which of course means that half of my old programs won't work on the newer operating system. Which means i have to buy new programs because it's damn near impossible to find bootleg ones. And don't even think about calling Apples help line...$50 for some dude in India to awkwardly read off some checklist of possible answers to my questions. Oh yeah, my G4 I souped up 3 years ago and paid $6500 for is already obsolete. Two years before that I paid $2500 for a G3. Now I get to look forward to buying a whole new computer in year for some ungodly amount. But hey, mac has pretty colors and it's easy to use.
