Ah who needs form controls…

Outsourcing to India has never been so good. I would like to know the conversation that took place when creating this high-performance survey.
Manager: Ok Harsah (author when view source), we need to create a survey for performance bikes, a simple form with 10-20 questions.
Harsah: Ok, this should only take a few weeks, since I will have to create my own checkboxes and other form controls from scratch with javascript and images.
Manager: Sounds good, while your at it make sure it won’t work for anybody using a Mac, because we all know those kinds of people don’t use the internet, nor do they shop at performance bikes.
Ugh.

I’ve just about had it with my Mac! Hey, i’ve been defending it for years against my PC friends, but i’m fed up. You seen those snotty commercials with a square PC dude and hip Mac dude? It’s supposed to show how cool and hip Mac users are and how compatible they are with other systems. What they don’t show is how my Mac seems to “loose” the drivers to my scanner and printer every month, and I have to go on their sites to download it over and over again. Or the fact that anytime I want to to upgrade a program like Maya, they want me to buy a new operating system. Which of course means that half of my old programs won’t work on the newer operating system. Which means i have to buy new programs because it’s damn near impossible to find bootleg ones. And don’t even think about calling Apples help line…$50 for some dude in India to awkwardly read off some checklist of possible answers to my questions. Oh yeah, my G4 I souped up 3 years ago and paid $6500 for is already obsolete. Two years before that I paid $2500 for a G3. Now I get to look forward to buying a whole new computer in year for some ungodly amount. But hey, mac has pretty colors and it’s easy to use. I feel shafted…and not in a good way

What you really ought to be asking yourself, is in what way would being “shafted” be considered good?
Seeing things like that survey make me die a little inside.

yeah just ask kermit about the whole mac thing, he hates em. i on the other hand love my macs, i have 4 of them (2 g5s, 1 mini and a powerbook), and can’t imagine getting work done without them.
In the spirit of the survey, im now going to figure out a way to rewire the internet.

Man that is just gross. I’m with kermit – it hurts just to look at.

Dang bucky, thats a whole lot of macs! you wanna donate a G5 to a starving artist? common, it’ll make you feel good deep down in side, kind of like getting shafted in a good way.

sorry, but my accountant does not permit me to donate to bald guys. especially bald artists.
